Hey everyone. I just got back from Best buy, I purchased a stiletto 2 Sirius satellite player and it didn't work. It just kept cutting out. I'm sure these things work great but just not in a congested city. So I purchased it two days ago, tried to use it yesterday and returned it today. Everything was refunded except the $55 prepaid card. Best buy and Sirius told me it was non-refundable. So I couldn't use their service but I paid $55. I talked to three customer service reps who all put me on hold until I was disconnected. I even got one of the reps to say that I gave them $55 for NOTHING! They did say I could sell the prepaid card on ebay(later they said I couldn't), then they said I could reinstate my sirius account (IT DOESN'T FUCKING WORK!!!!!!). They told me there is nothing I could do. I asked them if they knew what digg.com was they said no. I told them I was going to post this there, and they said "Go ahead, what's that going to do?!" I know that it's only $55 dollars, but it's the principle. Diggers unite.

Wii is available for pre-order at shopto.net, the price is £149.99 ($274.356)with the release date of oct 15th. This is the first firm indication of a price so far. It's a little higher than the E3 estimate of $200.

Has shopto.net videogame superstore leaked the price and release date prematurely or are they estimating the price and trying to be ahead of the wii game?

Yesterday a couple of blogs brought to my attention that the British tabloid the daily star has info about the wii release. The printed version of yesterdays paper says that the wii will release "at the end of November" and there will be "two dozen games" and the price will be "£170" I do not claim this as fact, but have made an attempt to contact the writer and will post what he has to say.

I did some searching today and read that you could pre order a wii at fye stores. I checked their website fye.com and saw nothing. I called the store in seremonte and yes, its true. It is limited to the first twelve. I don't know if this is necessary but I want one now so I'm gonna do it. I'll leave a link when you can do it online.

Study shows drinking coffee may be related to reducing the risk of cirrhosis!

It may be in your best interest to stop by your local café after having that week long bender. A study in the June 12 issue of Archives of Internal Medicine shows that drinking coffee may significantly reduce your chance of getting the liver disease cirrhosis.Cirrhosis basically turns your liver into scar tissue, making it impossible to filter toxins out of the body. Other factors are also in play in developing the disease. Hepatitis C, smoking, and mixing other toxins with alcohol can speed up the process.

So the guys at Kaiser Medical Care Program, in Oakland ,CA analyzed data from 125,580 subjects. They ran blood test for the enzyme that shows liver damage. They found that people who drank coffee and alcohol had a lower amount of the enzyme than people who just drank. The amount of the enzyme in heavy drinkers that drank coffee to those who didn't was even greater. They also did the study with tea, and found that it was not related to the lower risk.

This story struck a chord with me. I am a bartender at the 500 club here in San Francisco, and if there is any kind of preventative thing you can do to combat liver disease I want to promote it. Stop by star bucks after a hard night at the 5, Your liver will love you for it.

This offer is only available at Australian Toys 'R' Us and is not affiliated with Nintendo Australia. CNN said today that production on the wii has already started and that it may be out much sooner than originally thought(sept. in the US?). Most of us remember the NES gun. But do you remember the NES power glove? This thing had the ability to change your movements by moving your hand(sound familiar). Also buttons 0-9 could be preset to change the speed of the a and b button. The D-pad was straped to your wrist .In my search today for all things wii I came across pictures of it, a video, and a mock ad for a WII power glove. Will we need this? So I went to best buy the other day to check out the nintendo ds. I wasn't that impressed so I walked over to the dvd section. I asked the guy if they had any of the bluray players in stock. He just pointed and smiled. So my girlfriend and I were standing there in awe of the samsung bp-1000 hooked the samsung 40 inch 1080p lcd. There was on of those discs in the player that had alot of still or slow moving nature images. The picture was amazing. Until... I saw this copy of House of flying daggers laying on top of the player. I ejected the disc and put in the movie. It looked like I was looking at a movie after my eyes had been poked pixelation everywhere. I looked in the back and it seemed to be hooked up correctly in the hdmi imput. Are these movies fucked up or what is it? Please comment.

Nintendo has completely outdone themselves by adding a wrist strap to the wii. This is probably the biggest invention that they have come out with since super mario brothers. Personally I love this idea, I have an huge anger management problem and would probably spend the amount of a ps3 on wiimotes (jesus thats a lot).

Nacho libre was fucking awesome. I saw the previews for it and thought this movie would suck. The acting was great. The cinematograpy was AMAZING. The story was short and to the point. This was a real entertaining no brainer that I would tell anyone to go see.
